Finding an internship opportunity and figuring out a career path that you would like to pursue are challenging pursuits! Visit Biola’s Career Center website to access a multitude of resources. You can also check out this list below full of resources both on and off campus.

Biola Offices and Services

  • Biola Career Center - Biola’s Career Center has many embedded tools that are helpful when considering future career options and internships. You can stop by the Career Center in Sutherland during their open hours, and you can schedule a meeting with a Career Specialist who will be able to support you and answer any questions you may have.
  • Peer Internship Ambassadors - Connect with a trained student in your major whose role is to help you get connected to specific internship opportunities and tools to help you find internships on your own.
  • CareerExplorer Assessment - Assessment to help you discover possible careers based on your personality, interests, and preferences.

  • Handshake - Find internship and job postings here! You can also sign up for appointments at the career center, sign up for virtual career fairs, and explore career tracks on Handshake.
  • Linkedin - Create a professional profile on LinkedIn and connect with Biola alumni who have jobs you are interred in. You can also find internship and job postings here.
  • Big Interview - Online program provided by Biola that allows you to practice answering commonly asked interview questions.
  • Idealist - Website that lists internships and job opportunities at non-profits around the country.
  • Indeed - Website that lists internship and job opportunities.

Discovering your career path

We recognize that it can be very challenging and anxiety inducing to start thinking through the future. On one day it can feel like there are too many options, and other days it feels like you might be running into the same dead ends over and over again. We want to point you to resources that can help take the pressure off and help you relax in this process. Discovering God’s will and discerning your vocation can actually be full of peace, wisdom, and excitement. You don’t need to feel the weight of getting everything perfect on the first try.
