Who has had the greatest influence on your life?
My 3 sisters! My older sister has been my positive support system by guiding me through all areas of my life for me to be successful. My two little sisters are the reason I push myself to be a good example to them, and to be able to be there for them as well. All 3 have pushed me to be a better version of myself.
What was the greatest lesson you learned in college?
Community! Finding a good group of friends that not only love and accept you, but also push you to be a better version of yourself. Being in a community where they help you grow personally, socially, and spiritually in all seasons of life is so important.
What is your favorite place on campus? Why?
The Jonah Prayer Room. Being in that prayer room has brought me, and still brings me so much peace and comfort by pulling me away from the hardships and business of life. I definitely feel the presence of the Lord in that room, telling me to lean on Him and to let Him take the weight of everything off my shoulders. Having that one-on-one alone time with God reminds me that even if things don’t turn out like I think it should, it doesn't change the fact He’s always good. It reminds me that His plans for me are higher than mine for they will prosper me and give me hope & a future. It reminds me to trust in Him with all my heart and to acknowledge Him in everything I do.
Where do you hang out in Los Angeles?
The only times I go out to downtown L.A. is to catch a Dodger baseball game! GO DODGERS!!!!
