Incoming Student Orientation

Biola University offers a number of orientation events and activities for both specific groups and the incoming student body at large. Our orientation offerings are the best way to connect with the Biola community and become familiar with the resources available on campus.

We want to ensure your successful start at Biola, which is why essential orientation events and seminars are mandatory for incoming students.

Student Orientation Services (SOS)

SOS is a service provided by current student leaders to help all incoming students transition into college life, particularly life at Biola University! For more information about movie-in day and the student orientation schedule, visit the SOS website.

Additional Orientation Groups

Torrey Honors Institute

For student enrolling in the Torrey Honors Institute, there is an orientation week prior to the traditional undergraduate orientation events. The Torrey Honors Institute will contact you with more information as orientation approaches.

Biola Athletics

If you are a member of a Biola athletic team, please contact your coach regarding the date you are to report to campus. Athletes participating in a fall sport often need to arrive on campus prior to the official move-in date.

Global Student Programs and Development (GSPD) hosts Global Student Orientation, a week-long welcome event full of helpful activities and workshops to help transition you to campus and the Southern California area. Register and learn more at our Undergraduate Global Student Orientation page.
