New Student Checklist

  1. Complete your pre-orientation modules.

    An invitation to access the modules will be sent July 2023 to your Biola email. All new transfers and freshmen must complete the Pre-Orientation modules by August 28, 2023. These online mini-lessons contain important information that will prepare you for New Student Orientation and life at Biola. You can move through the modules at your own pace over a few days and return to review them at any time throughout the semester.

  3. Register for New Student Orientation.

    All incoming students will need to register for New Student Orientation. The link will also be emailed to all new students.

  5. Download the Biola App.

    With the Biola App, you'll be able to start engaging with the new student community, and exploring all the resources and ways you can get involved once you're on campus!

  7. Get your Digital Eagle ID.

    The Eagle ID is your official student identification card and required for access to a variety of university resources. Eagle ID uses include, but not limited to, the following:


    • Access to secured buildings
    • On-campus dining using meal plans, flex dollars and student dollars
    • Library privileges
    • Chapel attendance and event check-in
    • Fitness Center membership
    • Retail purchases at the Biola Store
    • Biola Shuttle transportation
    • Print and copy services

    New incoming students will receive an email invite to submit a photo for their student ID. Submit your ID Photo Online You can quickly and easily submit a photo of your choice to be used on your Eagle ID. You can add your Eagle ID to Apple Wallet on your iPhone and/or Apple Watch or to Google Pay on your Android phone. Explore the ID Card Office webpage for more info.
