New Spring 2027 students are welcomed to campus with their families with programming designed to prepare students to begin classes at Biola.

Spring 2027 New Student Orientation Events
Biola University welcomes all incoming Spring 2027 students and their families to New Student Orientation on Biola’s campus Friday, January 8, 2027. Orientation is more than just a welcome event or information session. NSO helps students acclimate to Biola’s campus, understand academic expectations, discover ways to plug into your new community and build social connections. We look forward to seeing you on January 8!

Families and Supporters are invited to attend all New Student Orientation meals and activities. We have a special time set aside for families to connect with other families but otherwise you will be with your student.

| 12:15-1 p.m. | Lunch Buffet Hosted by NSO Incoming students and families are invited to enjoy a complimentary buffet with gluten-free and dairy free options available. Enjoy time connecting with other families, student leaders and Biola staff. |

| 1-2 p.m. | Student Life Experience Parents and families will greatly benefit from this interactive and informative time. You’ll hear from various departments about what it means to be a thriving and connected member of the Biola community. | 2-3:15 p.m. | Academic Orientation — For Incoming Students Only This lively presentation from Biola’s Academic Advising department will provide you with vital information regarding your academic career at Biola. * Families are invited to attend Cookies & Conversation in the Office of Student Accessibility during this time. | Andrew's Banquet Room |
| 2-3:15 p.m. | Families and Supporters —Coffee & Conversation
Families and supporters are invited to the beautiful OSA space where you will have the opportunity to mingle with new Biola families, get answers to questions from the Student Development staff or simply relax. We hope you will walk away from this session with a greater understanding of Biola resources, family communication points and how you can be involved throughout your student's education. |

We will gather around the Talbot Reflecting Pool as new students are encouraged to embrace their new community and look forward to an exciting Biola journey. |

| 3:30-4 p.m | You Choose: Campus Resource Opportunity for Students and Families Use this personal time to complete needed tasks: Visit Biola departments for any remaining inquiries, join the NSO tour to make sure you know the location of your classes or run errands required to be ready for the first day of classes.
