Overview
Biola offers four different payment options for your semester expenses. In addition to the payment plan options detailed below, please make note of the following details:
- Semester expenses include tuition and (when applicable) class fees, university housing, meals, parking permit and health insurance (after authorized financial aid has been factored into your balance).
- The down payment amount is 40% of all tuition and fees (after authorized financial aid has been factored into your balance) plus the plan fee.
- If you are not paying your semester expenses in full, you must sign up for your payment plan through My Account within the “Payment” task.
Payment Plan Policies
- Four Payments — The four-payment option is for families who wish to pay their tuition in four installments each semester. This means that you will pay your tuition over four different dates each semester (fall and spring only). There is an $85 plan fee due at the time of enrollment, and if installment payments are late, a 1% fee will be assessed on the account balance.
- Three Payments — The three-payment option is for families who wish to pay their tuition in three installments each semester (fall and spring only). This means that you will pay an initial 40% down payment at the beginning of each semester, then two additional 30% payments for each semester. There is an $85 plan fee due at the time of enrollment, and if installment payments are late, a 1% fee will be assessed on the account balance.
- Two Payments — The two-payment option is for families who wish to pay their tuition in two installments each semester. This means that you will pay an initial 40% down payment at the beginning of each semester (fall, spring and summer), then pay the remaining tuition balance by a second deadline each semester. There is a $35 plan fee due at the time of enrollment, and if installment payments are late, a 1% fee will be assessed on the account balance.
- One Payment — The one-payment option is for families who wish to pay their semester expenses in full upon enrollment (each semester). Payment includes tuition, class fees, university housing, meals, parking permit fees and health insurance (after authorized financial aid has been accounted for). There is no plan fee. If you are paying in full, you do not need to sign up for a payment plan.
