Tutoring & Academic Mentorship

Tutoring

If you are interested in more individualized tutoring, the Learning Center provides free one-on-one tutoring to Biola students by request. Tutors are fellow students who have successfully completed the course and have been highly recommended by the faculty of that specific class.

You will meet together for one hour a week per class, with remote sessions implemented as needed during this season. Tutoring sessions are limited and are available on a first-come, first served basis, so students are strongly encouraged to sign up early!

Academic Mentorship

The goal of the Academic Mentorship program is to mentor students in becoming equipped and confident in foundational academic skills necessary for college. An academic mentor will meet with the student on a weekly basis to provide regular accountability and support.
