Philosophy & Mission Statement
As part of the Learning Center, we aim to cultivate and equip every student towards personal responsibility and ownership. We desire to see every student with an expressed need equipped with resources to meet that need. We strive to provide students with holistic guidance, life skills, academic tools and personal resources for success.
The Learning Center partners with students in developing their care plan based upon their need and documentation provided. We provide reasonable and appropriate accommodations to students with psychological, medical, physical and learning disabilities, and ensure legal compliance with state and federal disability law. We advocate for students and facilitate with other departments across campus on the students’ behalf.
