Reservations/Application/Contracts/Payments

Conference Services Office

The summer office hours is from 6 a.m.–2 a.m. (seven days a week).

The Conference Services office is located in the student union building across the way from the Biola Store. The nearest parking lot is Lot H or Structure S (view interactive campus map).

Amenities

There is guest WiFi available for free all over campus in every meeting space and dormitory.

The linen packet includes the following:

  • Flat Sheet
  • Fitted Sheet
  • Pillow
  • Pillowcase
  • Blanket
  • Bath Towel
  • Washcloth
  • Hand towel.

Biola does not have any medical facilities available to outside guests. There is a Walgreens and other stores around the University. In addition, some of our Campus Safety personnel are EMT certified.

Pool usage is available, but subject to request and varying availability throughout the summer. There is a cost to use the pool for private reservations and open swim time. View the fitness facility hours for more information.

Lodging

Generally all dorm rooms on campus are equipped for double occupancy. There are a few rooms that are singles or triple occupancy depending on the building. Your floor chart will reflect whether it is single/double/triple occupancy.

Biola has two kinds of dorm rooms: suite style and traditional dorm style. Suite style dorms are two double occupancy rooms connected by a single bathroom (Jack and Jill bathroom). Traditional dorm style are double occupancy rooms with one or two common bathrooms (with showers) in the hallway.

No. However, we understand that some guests may not be able to climb a loft or bunk. In these cases, requests are submitted and is subject to availability. There is also a charge for this service.

Every dorm on campus has designated ADA bathrooms. If these accommodations are required, please let the Conference Services Office know and we will make the necessary arrangements.

Dining

  • Breakfast: 7:30–8:30 a.m.
  • Lunch: 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m.
  • Dinner: 5:30–6:30 p.m.

Parking/Transportation

Biola does not offer any University golf carts for use by outside guests. If you would like to use golf carts on campus, clients must rent and figure out logistics for transportation to campus. Once on campus, Conference Services will put together a plan for making sure they are secured at night to avoid theft.

Biola does offer limited shuttle service upon request contingent on availability. Please reach out for rates and availability.

Biola has numerous parking structures available for normal parking needs. We have limited availability for bus parking and RV/trailer/motor home parking. These require a permit and approval to be parked on campus and need to be coordinated with the Conference Services office.

Yes, our office can provide one for you that you can reproduce for your guests.

Venues/Facilities/Audio/Visual

Barbour Soccer (Turf) field does not have water or electricity. However, our varsity field and community grass fields on McNally do have access to water and electricity. A request must be made to have this set up.

Biola does have an Event Services department that is able to assist with physical setup and other technical audio visual and lighting support (AVL). This support is an additional cost which must be arranged with Conference Services prior to your conference. AVL is not included in basic rentals of University space.

Summer Conference Questions

The check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 10 a.m. If a different check-in or checkout time is needed, please make this request with the Conference Services office.

Conference organizers will pick up the keys from the Conference Services office and will distribute them as needed. If you need assistance from Conference Services for your check in, please make arrangements with the office.

Every guest receives a key packet which includes one dorm room key and one colored fob. The fobs are used to access the exterior doors of the building the guest is assigned. The dorm room key is for access to the specific room within a building the guest is lodging.

The cost of losing an entire key set (key and fob) is $100.
