What SGA Does
SGA exists to advocate for students and improve the Biola experience through collaboration, leadership, and service.
Advocacy, Funding & Administrative Partnerships
SGA helps fund student initiatives through Student Initiative Proposals. These can be in the form of student ideas, club funding, and other forms of student support. Students can bring forward ideas for improvements, events, or resources, and SGA works to help evaluate and support those efforts.
SGA also serves as a voice for students in conversations with university leadership. Student representatives participate in and contribute to conversations in spaces that may include senior administration, the President’s Advisory Council, and other university committees and partnerships.
In addition, SGA works closely with student-facing administrative offices such as Housing and Residence Life, Auxiliary Services, Dining Services, and others to address student concerns and improve campus life.
