Quick Facts
Built in 2005, Horton is under the supervision of a Resident Director, Assistant Resident Director and Resident Advisors. Horton is a traditional 'dorm-style' hall with community restrooms. The main lobby/lounge is a two-story atrium, including a large conference room with a television and two vending machines. There is a centralized laundry room in the basement and a large basement kitchen with a lounge area and pool table.

About Horton
Built in 2005, Horton Hall is the second-largest residence hall on campus. It replaced the original Horton Hall, built in 1958, and is named for T.C. Horton, a pastor, author, colleague of Lyman Stewart, and co-founder of Biola.
Horton is close to the center of campus, with especially easy access to the music, athletic and cafeteria facilities. Horton is home to continuing students (i.e. sophomores, juniors and seniors), is co-ed with male and female students living in separate sections of the building, while sharing the lobbies, kitchens and laundry facilities.
Horton Hall's doors are secured by an electronic access system, so only students can access the building during the day, and only residents may enter the building at night. Each individual room is key-locked for student security. Security cameras in outside and common areas are monitored 24 hours per day, and Campus Safety patrols campus regularly to ensure student security at all times.

Hello, my name is Tanner! I was born and raised in Aliso Viejo, California. I did my undergraduate at Point Loma Nazarene University, and had a passion to become a police officer. However, after being a Resident Assistant my senior year, I was challenged to consider career opportunities in student development. That led me to a wonderful 3-year career at Hume Lake Christian Camps in the Sierra Nevada mountains; for two years I was an RD at Hume’s gap year program, The Joshua Wilderness Institute, and for one year I directed various programs as their School Ministries Director. Working at Hume further ignited in me a passion to encourage young adults in their spiritual development, which makes being the RD of Horton the best job in the world. I am married to my amazing wife Morgan; we love an active lifestyle and being hospitable towards others, but also don’t mind a night in to watch the occasional reality TV show. My heart for Horton is for it to be an authentic Christian community where all students can increasingly grow in their relationship with Christ, learn to love their peers well, and discover how to engage in our world.

Hi! I'm Gracie Fasulo, and I have the privilege of serving as the ARD for Horton. I grew up as a missionary kid in Panama before moving to California for college. I earned my B.S. in Mathematics and B.A. in Christian Studies from CBU, where I worked in Residence Life for three years and discovered my passion for caring for and walking alongside college students.
After a brief detour teaching high school math and leadership, I returned to higher education and am currently pursuing my M.A. in Higher Education Leadership. I love coming alongside students in every aspect of college life and helping them grow holistically during their time at Biola. My desire is to follow Jesus faithfully and invite others to do the same.
When I'm not working or studying, you can usually find me at a coffee shop with a good book or playing board games with my husband, Nick.
