Resources

As Biola University employees, each of us plays a role in promoting and protecting the value of Biola’s brand. The following resources and tools are designed to help you uphold the university’s brand standards, follow legal requirements and speak with one voice — all as one — as you represent Biola to internal and external audiences.

Brand Essentials

  • Biola Logo Guidelines – The university’s logo is a trademarked symbol that — more than any other visual element — represents the Biola brand. Correct and consistent usage of the logo preserves the integrity of our brand.
  • Editorial Style Guide – This resource is designed to help employees stay consistent when writing for university publications, websites and correspondence intended for external audiences or larger internal audiences.
  • Brand Ambassador Learning Track – This set of courses offered by Enrollment, Marketing and Communications (EMC) and Human Resources (HR) equips employees to understand and live out Biola’s brand. Learn more within the “Learn” tab of Biola Engage.

Templates

  • Google Slides Presentation Template – Access a branded slide template on Google Slides. Click on “Biola University Presentation Deck Template” in the template gallery to create your own editable copy. (You must be signed into your Biola account.)
  • Digital Letterhead – Create and send digital-only versions of official Biola documents using this downloadable template on My Biola. Please note that this template should only be used for communications that will be sent digitally.
  • Email Signature - University Marketing has designed Biola's official email signature. View a sample layout of the signature as well as instructions on how to implement it.

Accessibility

  • Web Accessibility Resources – University Marketing works closely with IT to ensure that the university’s websites, videos and other assets meet accessibility standards. Several tutorials and how-to guides are available on My Biola.
