Summer Meal Plans
Students on campus for classes, work, or athletics during Summer sessions have access to several of Biola's food service options. Typically, Cafe Biola (aka "the Caf") and Heritage Cafe are open during the summer. All venues accept Student Dollars, cash or credit cards. If dining primarily in the Caf you may instead wish to purchase a meal plan.
Summer Meal Plans with at least 10 meals per week are required for undergraduate students living in Summer Housing. Summer Meal Plans are optional for Graduate Residency programs and undergraduates living off campus. Summer Meal Plans may only be used at Cafe Biola — the Meal Exchange program will resume during Fall/Spring term.
Dining Plan Options
We offer two types of dining plans: Weekly plans or Block plans. Summer plans are NOT bundled with any Flex Dollars, however you may use Student Dollars year-round.
Weekly Meal Plans:
Choose the desired number of meals you plan to use each week. Present your Eagle ID card each time you enter the Caf. Every Sunday your meals are replenished. Unused meals are non-refundable and do not roll over to the following week. Weekly meal plans are available in sizes of 5, 10, 12, 15, or 20 meals per week.
Block Plans:
Choose the desired number of meals you plan to use for the entire Summer session. You will get a one-time download of meals to your Eagle ID. Present your Eagle ID each time you enter the Caf. Unused meals are non-refundable and do not roll over to the following academic semester. Block plans are available in increments of 10, 20, 30, or 40 meals. Block meals can be used to pay for guests to dine with you.
