At Talbot School of Theology, we’ve reshaped our degree programs to make them more convenient and accessible than ever. With fewer required credits and more online options, you can move more quickly into your calling while studying with reputable Christian scholars who are committed to the Bible and spiritual growth.
Fully Online Programs
Talbot’s fully online Master of Arts programs allow you to pursue God’s calling on your life from anywhere in the world — no need to ever step foot on campus. (Or, if you’d prefer a blend of online and on-campus courses, the programs give you the flexibility to mix and match the kinds of courses you take.) Choose from these four degree options, each designed to give you the skills needed to properly interpret, understand and apply God’s Word.
Reduced-credit M.A. & M.Div. Programs
Talbot’s newly reconfigured programs are designed to enable you to complete your seminary education more quickly and more affordably, without sacrificing academic quality or ministry preparation. With the option of taking online courses, a seminary education from Talbot has never been more achievable. To further your calling, you won’t be required to come to campus nearly as much and, depending on your degree, maybe not at all. Instead of spending time on your commute, you can spend time where it counts most.
49-credit Master of Arts
Most of Talbot’s M.A. programs have been reduced to 49 credits, enabling you to earn your degree in about two years of full-time study. Choose from 15 different emphases or areas of focus, each tailored to your academic, ministry or vocational calling.
79-credit Master of Divinity
Talbot’s M.Div. programs have been reduced to 79 credits, enabling you to earn your degree in about three years of full-time study. Choose from seven distinct emphases, each tailored to your academic, ministry or vocational calling.
