Getting Utility

To estimate the cost of utilities, you will need to contact the appropriate providers for your area. We encourage you to thoroughly research your options before making a decision.

This list includes only the major providers in the immediate Biola University area. Some cities have multiple providers for a service; you may have to call multiple providers to see who services your specific street. You can refer to the website of your specific city or county for information on alternative providers who may have lower rates than the major providers. The list is organized by the utilities provided by each company. Note that there are many companies that provide more than one type of service, and they may offer special rates on bundled service packages.

California residents can get assistance for paying their utility bills from the CARE Program (California Alternate Rates for Energy). This program provides a monthly discount on utility bills for low-to-moderate income households and housing facilities if they meet qualifications, which is based on your total annual household income as well as the total number of persons living in your home.
