Rosemead School of Psychology

Rosemead School of Psychology admits new Psy.D. and Ph.D. students each fall semester. Incoming doctoral students will be invited to our Fall Orientation events in August 2025. These events will be wonderful opportunities for students to meet their cohort and other current Rosemead students, faculty and staff.

Biola's School of Education is hosting a welcome reception for all graduate SOE students on our beautiful campus. Come meet fellow classmates and professors in person.

Academic Advising

Incoming students must meet with an academic advisor before registering for classes. Meeting with an advisor is optional for transitioning students who have already taken credential courses at Biola.

Domestic and international graduate students, please email Christie Curtis (christie.j.curtis@biola.edu) for an academic advising appointment before registering for classes.

    Office hours during spring and fall semesters are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m (562.903.4843). During the summer we close at noon on Fridays.

    School of Science, Technology and Health

    M.S. in Speech, Language and Pathology Orientation

    All incoming M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology students are required to attend the New Student Orientation as part of Welcome Week. This week-long event will be held on campus, starting the Monday before the semester, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Throughout the week, students will meet their cohort, department faculty and staff, become oriented with the program, and prepare for their first clinical placement.
