Noah Love

Project Manager at University of Pennsylvania

Psychology, B.A. ‘21

One of the most wonderful things about Biola is that professors there are so concerned with educating students as whole people, not just meeting certain academic outcomes. I was deeply mentored and educated by my Biola professors in ways that I am constantly grateful for, and that have benefited me in every domain of life.

How did your program at Biola prepare you for your career?

Rosemead helped me gather both the content knowledge and the research skills necessary to succeed in a research position in a fast paced, grant-funded lab at an R1 institution.

What did you appreciate most about your time at Biola?

One of the most wonderful things about Biola is that professors there are so concerned with educating students as whole people, not just meeting certain academic outcomes. I was deeply mentored and educated by my Biola professors in ways that I am constantly grateful for, and that have benefited me in every domain of life.

How did Biola equip you to be a more faithful follower of Jesus Christ?

Biola equipped me to be a more faithful follower of Christ in countless ways. And one of the biggest: Biola gave me a community of believers who were all committed to knowing and loving Christ, and I got to love Him as a part of that community.

What advice would you give to students considering your degree program?

Be sure to take initiative with research opportunities; ask professors if they need a research assistant or if there are any ways you can be involved in their work. That's an easy and fun way to get super valuable skills and experience. Also, the content of a psych degree is super interesting and important, both for those who want to continue psychology education into grad school and those who don't.
