Start with at least three hours perusing all possible scholarship databases. Make notes and register yourself on all sites. Then spend half an hour EVERY week checking up on new options for your field of study.

Possibly the best database available. Updated most frequently. Some applications can be completed online. - Foreign Born
Provides tips and links specifically for foreign students. - IEFA
Search by field of study. Easy to locate possible scholarships without having to supply any personal information. - EduPass
Uses fastweb's search engine, but it does have links to orientation information that may be helpful. - IIE
Does not have very many scholarship offers. Focus is more on student exchange programs. Nevertheless worth checking into once in a while. - Evangelical Theological Society
This is a scholarship for participation in the Evangelical Theological Society; it is for graduate students. - Rotary International
Get connected to a local Rotary club to see what kind of scholarships they offer.
Research Options from Your Country of Citizenship
- Contact embassies and government officials
- Get on as many email lists as you can — who knows when they will announce scholarship options!
