Sculpture Concentration

A traditional and contemporary approach to sculpture

Our sculpture concentration recognizes the multidisciplinary nature of sculpture. With this in mind, our program focuses on equipping you to be proficient in traditional methods (such as in ceramics, woodwork and mold-making) as well as in contemporary genres (like 3-D digital modeling, 3-D printing and sculpting in virtual reality). Students will be prepared for careers as fine art sculptors, prop makers, digital modelers for product design, game design, apparel design and prop design for film — among other related fields — while remaining grounded in the foundation of the fine arts experience at Biola.
