Classrooms and Facilities

Student-Run Organizations and Media

Biola is home to several student-run media groups and organizations, facilitated by the Division of Communication. Journalism students are heavily involved in the production of our award-winning campus newspaper, The Chimes, in addition to The Point magazine, EagleVision broadcast news, and our radio broadcast, The Torch. Public Relations students can also get involved with Biola’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) or our student-run PR agency, 6th Street Public Relations.

Music Ensembles

The Conservatory of the Performing Arts facilitates a variety of student music groups and ensembles, including worship band, symphony orchestra, opera and so much more. Some groups are even open to non-music majors, which gives you a chance to explore your musical talents with other students at Biola.

Cinema and Media Arts Collaborations

The School of Arts and Letters is proud to partner with the Snyder School of Cinema & Media Arts — the #1 Christian film school — creating unique opportunities for students to experience collaborative, hands-on learning in the creative disciplines of cinema, media arts, animation and music. Together, you will craft stories that matter. Student filmmakers and new media students will collaborate with composition students for original scores, animation students for storyboarding, and theatre students for acting in student film productions.

Biola's study abroad programs will take you beyond the classroom — and in fact, beyond Southern California — and help you experience new cultures, communities and people. During your time at Biola, you can study in countries like New Zealand, South Korea, England and more, all while earning credits toward your degree.
