Speakers

La Nej Garrison

La Nej Garrison passionately defends biblical truth. As an apologist, writer, teacher, and speaker,
her goal is to equip believers to live victorious lives. Her most exciting role is a wife and mother.
La Nej is married to Matthew Garrison, and the couple has three wild boys, a tortoise, and one
useless dog.

La Nej completed her undergraduate studies at Biola University and earned her Master of Arts in
Philosophy of Religion and Ethics from Talbot School of Theology. With her unique style, every
message combines theological and philosophical foundations for a defense of the Christian faith.
Her sincere enthusiasm, sprinkled with humor and seasoned with sound biblical exegesis, has
landed her on platforms from Japan to South Africa and cities throughout the United States. La
Nej was an editor for one of the largest Independent publishing African American in the US.

She’s a favorite at national conferences, public/private schools, Bible studies, and Biola
University chapels. She's also spoken for various national apologetic conferences such as
Stand To Reason, Desert Apologetics and more. Over the years, she has ministered at
Youth for Christ’s Turn Your Campus events, and American Baptist Churches of Los
Angeles youth retreats, and more!

An ordained minister, La Nej is the Chaplain at Desert Christian Academy in Bermuda Dunes,
California, where she teaches a rigorous worldview class. In her spare time, she's an adjunct
Philosophy professor, a former senior writer for Women in Apologetics, and serves on the board
for Desert Apologetics.
