We live in the age of the individual; a singular person formed by contemporary culture to be inwardly focused and outwardly productive. So how then, in such times as these, can we find our way back to our Maker's original intent? How does the creation story in Genesis invite us to rediscover relationships and rest?

Speakers

Daena Dooley

Daena Jay Dooley is a South African-born, LA-raised, Biola grad who has spent the last 15 years writing songs for television and film. She has received 4 Emmy nominations throughout her music career, while also traveling the world working with local churches to create cultures of worship that reflect the creativity within their unique communities. She is passionate about science fiction, food, and most importantly her family; her husband and 2 little kids. She lives in Costa Mesa and is part of the core leadership team at Genesis Church where she both teaches and leads Worship regularly.
