Why do we pick up our Bibles, and read them, and forget that they were written in a different culture, a different language, 2000 years ago? As we start the John series in chapel, let’s look at how understanding the background and history of Jesus’s culture helps us to understand the miracle of John 2:1-11 better. Jesus changes water to wine, but it is much more than just a miracle.
