Speakers

Jaime Kang

Dr. Jaime M. Kang is a Christian educator with special interest in human development. She has received her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Irvine and M.A. and Ph.D. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, KY. She began her academic career as Chair of the Religious Studies Department of California Baptist University, Riverside, CA, and moved to Baekseok University in Korea, where she has served as Provost for last 5 years. This year, Dr. Kang is taking her sabbatical in the US, spending quality time with her three grandchildren. She has authored and edited books and articles in the areas of children’s ministry, educational methodology, and multicultural Christian education. Along with her academic work, as an ordained pastor, she also enjoys speaking to many groups and churches on various aspects of Christian living and is actively involved in her local church.
