The Port of Los Angeles provides one-hour educational tours aboard Harbor Breeze Cruise boats to school groups to demonstrate the dynamics of world trade. There is nothing like the experience of pulling up next to a massive containership as it unloads hundreds of containers. At nearly 500 acres, the Port is home to the world's largest container facility, is three times the size of Disneyland and sits on a man-made island built from Catalina Island stones and material dredged from the bottom of Harbor channels.

Last year, more than 12,000 students participated in their boat tour program. We hope you too will join us aboard!

The hour-long tours offer refreshments for purchase once aboard the tour boat. Light jackets and sunscreen are recommended, and don’t forget your camera! Space is limited and seats will be filled on a first come-first served basis until the boat has sold out.

Required minimum age: 9yrs. old

Last day to register: Friday, April 12th

Cost: Free
