Speakers

La Nej Garrison

La Nej Garrison, M.A. is a national speaker, writer, and editor for the largest African-American Publishing house in the United States. She develops curriculua for teens and young adults. La Nej is privileged to teach Bible, Christian Worldviews, debate and other classes at Desert Christian Academy. She is also a writer and consultant for the Council of Churches.  She is passionate about teaching God's Word! Her goal is to provide relevant insights to equip believers to live victorious lives, especially in today’s culture. La Nej completed her undergraduate studies at Biola University and earned her Master of Arts in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics from Talbot School of Theology. As the first African American woman to graduate from the philosophy program, La Nej has been determined to communicate sound truths, mixed with humor, to the world.

La Nej is married to Matthew Garrison whom she met while an undergraduate at Biola. The couple has three sons, Josiah, Judah, and Jeremiah and one useless big dog.
