Through Mary's extravagant worship, we learn that genuine acts of grace and love are sometimes considered deviant. However, Mary's lavish anointing of Jesus reveals not only her great love for him but also her recognition of who Jesus is and what he must suffer.
Speakers
Janette Ok
Janette Ok is Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies, New Testament at Azusa Pacific Seminary and a Pastor at Ekko Church. She studied at UCLA and Princeton Theological Seminary and has more than 20 years of ministry experience. Her passion is to equip leaders for the church. Janette tries to spend her best waking hours with her three children, Martin, Arielle, and Theodore, and best friend and husband, Ricky.
