SGA will be focusing on the complex conversation of how we live in a world where presenting one side of yourself is socially acceptable and praised sometimes. We will be expanding on some of these commonly thought questions: “How are we supposed to feel comfortable in our own skin if it seems like everyone else skin is so much more comfortable? How come I feel like the weight of the world is on my shoulders, but I’m unmoveable? Why do I feel alone?” It is easy as students of this generation to place our whole identity into something good about ourselves, believe that is who we are, and constantly post about it because it hides sides of ourselves that we are truly insecure about. Not only will we be expanding on these topics, you will learn a little bit more about SGA, how we serve you, and even take part in after chapel celebration where we celebrate you as a student!
