Speakers

Jeannine Hanger

Jeannine has been an adjunct professor in the Biblical and Theological Studies department at Biola for almost 10 years. She is currently working on her PhD in New Testament Studies at the University of Aberdeen, so she likes to tell her students: she feels their pain. There is always some kind of academic obligation in the background of her life. Outside of her academic life she is a wife and mom. She has been married to her husband Garrick for 20 years. She fondly remembers their newlywed years as students together here at Talbot, romantically competing for the best grade in Greek class. Garrick is now a pastor at Rolling Hills Covenant Church. Together they are parents to Bella, 16, Emery, 13, and Garrison, 11. Some of her favorite things include: running, coffee and rainy days.
