The year 2017 marks 500 years since Martin Luther published his 95 theses and launched the Protestant Reformation. Pianist Jenny Park was commissioned by Dr. Ed. Willmington of Fuller Seminary to arrange five hymns for the fall celebration of the momentous event. We are pleased to have Ms. Park present “Lift High the Cross,” the collection of her original arrangements which correspond with the Five Sola foundational themes of Christian faith: grace alone (Sola Gratia), faith alone (Sola Fide), scripture alone (Sola Scriptura), Christ alone (Solus Christus), and to the glory of God alone (Soli Deo Gloria). Each sola theme has been connected to historical hymns that express aspects of each sola. Please join us for this special commemorative performance.
