Each week in Wednesday Wisdom Chapel, we hear from speakers whose specializations and experience bring us biblically-based wisdom for Christian engagement in the arts and culture, reconciliation, missions and evangelism, justice, relationships, spiritual formation and other relevant topics. Come join us as we gather together as a community to pray, “Thy Kingdom Come” in all these areas of our lives.

Terry McGonigal

Terry McGonigal served as Dean of Spiritual Life at Whitworth University for twenty years. As campus pastor, Terry preached regularly in chapel, coordinated small groups and provided pastoral care for the community. Now, Terry serves as the Director of Church Engagement at Whitworth, where he connects the university's resources to the local church. Terry also teaches courses in biblical studies, and his signature course is “Biblical Theme of Shalom.” This course considers the wide variety of ways that multiple Hebrew and Greek words are translated as “peace,” with application for personal, communal, and international practices that will foster well-being and wholeness.
