Speakers

Matthew Barrios

Matt Barrios received his BA in English from Biola University and currently works on his MA in Spiritual Formation & Soul Care at Talbot Seminary. His research interests include the work of Soren Kierkegaard and the layover between literature and spirituality - how do stories spiritually shape people? If not teaching or studying, he enjoys remembering his dreams in vivid detail, playing in the folk rock band Preacher's Sons, and sitting across from just one person at a time. Slowly growing proficient in whatever skills he's into that week, Matt is lately juggling: completing a V60 bypass extraction (coffee, not heart surgery), making quality risotto, and play jazz piano so, so poorly.
