The Department of Media, Journalism and Public Relations (MJPR) prepares students through rigorous academic and practical instruction to be critical thinkers, skilled factual storytellers, agile managers of multiple media platforms and servant-leaders in a rapidly changing media landscape. The faculty brings the highest standards of professional media practice and academic understanding into their instruction, inviting students to meet those standards with creativity, tenacity and excellence.

The degree programs in the MJPR department prepare students to impact the world. With today's rapidly changing media landscape and increased access to information, journalists and public relations professionals have amazing opportunities to influence and shape society. Media, journalism and public relations students at Biola prepare to become leaders in their fields.
