Celebrate and honor the impactful women in our community, from those who speak the truth into our lives and those who continue to inspire us in our Christian journey. All faculty, staff, and students are invited to participate in any of the events below that foster a sense of fellowship and celebration of women at Biola.

In commemoration of Women’s History Month, Biola has curated a series of events to honor and celebrate the remarkable women in our community. The festivities commence with Chapel on Monday, March 25, at 9:30 a.m. and additional events throughout the week.

Schedule of Events:

  • Wednesday, March 13, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. - Join the BELLA (Biola Educated Latinas Leading in Action) group at their career panel to hear stories of overcoming obstacles as Latina women in higher education and other careers in the Fireplace Pavilion
  • Monday, March 25, 9:30 a.m. - Join us in Chapel with Kathleen Cooke, Co-Founder/Media Executive, Cooke Media
    Group & The Influence Lab/Influence Women.
    • Chapel Message: Ruth’s Grit: Courageous Commitment and the Workings of God
  • Monday, March 25, 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. -  Pre-registered lunch. Tickets are sold out.  
    • Message: Huldah: What This Overlooked Historic Woman Taught Me About Words, Leadership and What Matters in Life. 2 Chronicles 34: 23 "She said to them, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Tell the man who sent you to me..." 
  • Wednesday, March 27, 6:30–8:30 p.m. - Join us in the Fireplace Pavilion and embark on an inspiring journey at the Vendor Fair, Women Inspired: A Night of Support for Biola Women. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend this outdoor vendor fair at the Fireplace Pavilion, showcasing the diverse talents of women in our Biola community. The evening promises fellowship, art and vendor booths from women-owned businesses/organizations. Savor coffee and desserts as you shop and engage in the activities.
    • Vendors: If you would like to have a table, please fill out the Vendor Form by March 22. Space is limited.
