Do you believe that your family drama doesn't define who you are or what God wants to do in and through you? Let's look at various snapshots in the genealogy of Jesus highlighting the mess in his family story along with the redemption found along the way and ultimately in Christ himself.

Eric Rivera

Eric and Erikah share a passion for ministry in the city, raising gospel-centered leaders and cultivating healthy families. They, along with a team of believers planted The Brook church in 2013 where Eric serves as the Lead Pastor. The Rivera’s are speakers with FamilyLife’s Weekend to Remember marriage getaways in addition to being contributors to FamilyLife’s The Art of Parenting series and The Story of Us devotional. Erikah is pursuing her MA in Mental Health Counseling from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School where Eric earned his PhD and is an Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology. Eric is the author of Unexpected Jesus (Lexham 2022) and Christ is Yours (Lexham 2019). The Rivera’s have been married since 2003 and are parents to their three precious children—Keziah, Lukas and Levi. You can follow them on social media at @drericrivera and @erikahrivera
