Esther Jeong, MD, MPH, is a Canadian-born Korean who spent much of her childhood as a missionary kid in Mongolia. She obtained a bachelor of arts in biological sciences at Cornell University and then spent some time working as a research assistant, earning a master's in public health at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She obtained her MD at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed her pediatrics residency at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx, NY. Dr. Jeong currently practices as a primary care pediatrician at Duke Children's Primary Care in Durham, NC. Come hear her speak on "It Takes a Village: Social Determinants of Health in Pediatrics."
