Love overcomes fear. Humility subverts pride.
These are anxious and fearful times in national and world politics. How can Christian's embody Christ-like love and humility when it comes to political engagement? The Table 2016 will focus on politics beyond the media-hype and the presidential election, to explore love and humility in the politics of race, gender, neighborhood development, criminal justice, education, and interpersonal relationships.
Featuring: Civil rights icons Terrence Roberts (of the Little Rock Nine that desegregated Little Rock High School) and Carolyn McKinstry (who survived the catalytic 16th Street Baptist Church bombing); R.R.
