This event is free to attend.
A one day event designed for anyone involved or interested in sports and how that interest can be further developed into a personal and corporate, 21st century strategy for fulfillment of the Great Commission and the making of disciples.
Led by: Forty year sports minister, Tim Conrad, President of UW Sports Ministry and former teacher and Soccer Coach at Biola University, will lead a multi-faceted day of
interaction, lectures and discussions (both personal and group) relevant to student athletes, weekend warriors, coaches, and USA and International ministry leaders (both church and para church).
Schedule: (come for part or all of the day) 9:30-10:15 Chapel - Chase Gymnasium. Begin the day together in Worship and a challenge from God’s word. Speaker: Tania Abouezzeddine
10:30-12:00; Lecture 1- The State of Modern Sports Ministry 65 Years Young and the Challenge Ahead
12:00-1:30 All Participants are encouraged to spend time together at Biola Cafeteria continuing discussions informally.
1:30-4:30 Individual appointments with Tim Conrad and other Sports Ministry Professionals.
