The School of Science, Health & Technology invites you to a special lecture with Dr. Yvana Uranga-Hernandez, Associate Professor and Clinic Director for Communication Sciences and Disorders at Biola University. In this lecture, Dr. Uranga-Hernandez will discuss the meaning of the term “Theology of Disability,” the experiences that shape a Christian’s perspective on disability, and its profound implications for the work of OTs and nurses in their practice.
As part of this event, we are offering 1 FREE CEU for attendees. Come hear from one of our esteemed colleagues as she shares her expertise on this subject and how a theology of disability informs patient care across multiple healthcare disciplines. We will also have more information available on Biola’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program and faculty will be present to answer questions.
Anyone interested in these academic programs is encouraged to RSVP, as spots are limited. Please register to receive the Zoom link. We look forward to seeing you there!
