Chemistry Placement Day for Science Majors

General Information

Get a strong Biola start by completing your chemistry placement! On Wednesday, June 10 and Tuesday, June 16 incoming science students have the opportunity to:

• Complete the required chemistry placement exam

• Be among the first to receive their fall class schedule (you’ll get early access for attending the event)

• Meet with an academic advisor

Event Schedule

Register for one chemistry placement option:

Morning Option

9:00 — 9:30 a.m. - Check In at the Business Building (Building #50 on Biola Campus Map)

9:30 — 11:00 a.m. - Chemistry Placement Exam

10:30 — 12:00 p.m.- Walk-ins with an academic advisor

Afternoon Option

12:30 — 1:00 p.m. - Check In at the Business Building (Building #50 on Biola Campus Map)

1:00 — 2:30 p.m. - Chemistry Placement Exam

1:30 — 3:30 p.m. - Walk-ins with an academic advisor

CHEM 105: General Chemistry Majors

The following majors complete a placement exam for General Chemistry — CHEM 105:

• Allied Health*
  
• Biochemistry
• Biological Science
• Chemistry
• Health Sciences
• Kinesiology: Health & Exercise Science
• Kinesiology: Strength & Conditioning*

CHEM 120: General Chemistry Majors

The following complete a placement exam for Organic and Bio Chemistry — CHEM 120:

• Allied Health*
• Healthcare Management
• Kinesiology: Strength & Conditioning*
• Occupational Performance & Delivery
• Nursing

*Can take CHEM 105 or CHEM 120 to fulfill major requirements
