Dean of Spiritual Development, Dr. Mike Ahn, hosts Dr. Michael Longinow, professor of journalism, at the Biola Hour for a biblically-grounded conversation on culturally relevant issues.
Speakers
Michael Longinow
Michael Longinow is a tenured full professor in the Division of Communication at Biola, where he teaches Digital Journalism and Media and advises The Chimes Media Group. He holds a B.A. from Wheaton College, a graduate degree from the University of Illinois, and a doctorate from the University of Kentucky, where his dissertation explored the history of Christian higher education and American journalism.
Michael has worked as a reporter and freelancer for outlets across Illinois and Georgia, and has been recognized nationally as a writer, scholar, and educator. He serves as executive director of the Association of Christian Collegiate Media and has presented at journalism conferences around the world, including the Oxford Centre for Religion and Public Life.
He lives in Yorba Linda with his wonderful dog Bentley and his even more wonderful wife, Robin.
