This spring, Torrey Honors College professor Dr. Jane E. Kim launched a public humanities project called “Through the Lens of K-Drama: How Korean Stories Reflect Our World.” The Youtube lecture series features professors from various fields discussing how K-Dramas can help engage questions relevant to different disciplines, to our society and to our lives.

All are invited to attend the culmination of this lecture series at the in-person Q&A panel and Korean literature exhibit. The event will feature a panel discussion with the series' Biola faculty contributors and an interactive exhibit on Korean literature organized by the Torrey students in Kim’s Korean Literature class this semester. The event will be held on April 20, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. in the Andrews Banquet Room on Biola’s campus.

This event is sponsored by the Torrey Honors College and the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
