Speakers

Mike Ahn

Mike oversees the various departments in spiritual development: chapel programs, worship teams, Torrey Conference, student ministries and pastoral care. He is a graduate of Haverford College (B.A., History, ’01) and Talbot School of Theology (M.Div., Spiritual Formation, ’09; Ph.D., Educational Studies, ’22). If he could, he would have two In-N-Out cheeseburgers with chopped chilis, animal-style fries, and a Pamplemousse LaCroix for every meal.

Noreen Muehlhoff

Noreen, a native of Connecticut, comes to Biola via Ohio, Lithuania and North Carolina. She and Tim, her husband of over 30 years, are the proud parents of three sons and currently live in Southern California.

She was on staff with Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ) for 30 years ministering to college students in the U.S. and overseas. She and her husband speak nationally with FamilyLife at weekend marriage conferences as well as at marriage and relationship retreats and seminars.

Thought-provoking movies, dark chocolate and the beach top her list of favorite things, especially when shared with family and good friends.

Chad Miller

Chad is the Director of Pastoral Care & Student-Led Ministry. He served as a pastor locally for 12 years before coming to Biola in 2012. He teaches Spiritual Formation, offers pastoral care and advises Biola's Student Missionary Union. Chad has been married to Beth since 2002. Around Biola, he answers to his name, or to one of two nicknames, "Mad Chiller" or "Chad-the-Dad."

Landon White

Landon is the Assistant Director of Worship and Formation for the Department of Spiritual Development at Biola University. He has led worship for over 20 years at churches in Germany, Arkansas, and California. In his role at Biola, he trains student worship leaders in developing self, cultural, and spiritual awareness to more effectively guide diverse groups in corporate spiritual practices. A Southern boy at heart, he is constantly on the search for California’s most authentic barbecue and sweetest tea.

Megan Ashor

Megan is born and raised in Southern California, yet has lived in San Luis Obispo and Eastern Europe while working with Cru. Megan offers pastoral care and guidance to students on campus, connects students to local churches, and staff leads the prayer team. You can find her drinking an americano at Common Grounds, planning the next adventure with her husband, or talking about her cute nieces and nephews.
