On Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, New Student Orientation (NSO) officially begins. We want our incoming students to physically see and experience the incredible alumni network that is standing behind them as they begin their journey.

We are looking for passionate alumni to join us on campus for a few hours to welcome our new Eagles and their families. Whether you can give two hours in the morning or want to join us for our evening worship and communion, we have a spot for you!

Choose your shift and role:

  • Morning Welcome and Registration (9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | 2-Hour Shifts)
    • What you’ll do: Greet families along Chase Walkway, help direct them through registration, or staff our alumni welcome booth.

  • The Heritage Tunnel and Dessert Reception (5:30 – 7:00 p.m.)
    • What you’ll do: Help us serve dessert to families, and then join a cheering Alumni Heritage Tunnel to clap our new students into their first official university program.

  • Worship and Communion Service (7:30 – 9:00 p.m.)
    • What you’ll do: Partner with our Spiritual Development team to serve communion, act as an usher, or join our prayer team to pray over families at the end of the night.

You are a vital link in Biola's heritage, and your presence on campus will mean the world to a nervous freshman or a tearful parent saying their goodbyes.

Are you available to join us on Friday, August 28? Simply register and we will send you all the information you need to join this special event.

Thank you for your continued heart for Biola and for helping us usher in the Class of 2030 with open arms.
