Theatre
Biola students have the opportunity to participate in dramatic productions through our theatre production program. This program acts as a launch pad for students' creative and professional careers. The theatre program offers high-quality dramatic productions each semester, which are open to Biola students, alumni, faculty, staff and the general public. Information about tickets and showtimes will be displayed below during the performance season.
How to Audition
- Date: Friday, September 4, 2026
- Time: 6–10 p.m. Note: For both forms, you must use your Biola email address or you won't be able to access them.
How to Prepare
- Prepare two monologues – Contrasting (i.e. comedic and dramatic, or classic and contemporary)
- Each monologue should not be more than one minute
- A note on content and theme: Remember what you are auditioning for - find monologues that reflect the plays in some way, whether in atmosphere or theme, character or time period. It's a Wonderful Life is set during a 1940s radio broadcast and The Little Prince is whimsical and "out of time." Both are plays for the entire family.
