As a college student, you’re going to buy dozens of books. Some have changed the world. Some will change your life.

But here at Biola, there’s one book that stands far above all others — one that you’ll use in each and every class. And when you enroll this fall, it’s our gift to you.

Next semester, all incoming undergraduate students will receive a new Bible made especially for Biolans. This red-and-white leather-bound Bible is embossed with Biola’s logo, and it’s small enough to go wherever you go — whether you’re learning in the classroom, meditating in the prayer chapel or ministering on the streets of downtown Los Angeles.

At Biola, the Bible is at the center of what we do, and it’s been that way since our founding in 1908. We’re convinced that the study of God’s world must be joined with the study of God’s Word. Our faculty and students are expected to integrate their biblical worldview into each academic discipline and every aspect of daily life.

That’s what our mission of biblically centered education, scholarship and service is all about.

And that’s why, when you arrive in the fall of 2011, your first book is on us.
