On the upcoming television series, “Jesus: Man, Messiah, or More?” Biola University professor of New Testament and dean of faculty for Talbot School of Theology, Michael J. Wilkins, has already appeared in five of the eight part series Day of Discovery television show. Wilkins was interviewed to assist in providing insight in this documentary-style program answering questions like, “Was Jesus really the Son of God and the Messiah the Bible claims, or was He merely human like the rest of us?”

The weekly 30-minute television program began airing February 22, 2009 will run through Easter Sunday, April 12, 2009 on Ion television Sunday mornings at 7:30. The premiere show was an overview of the series and if Jesus was man, Messiah or more.

March 29:  Jesus: Man, Messiah, or More? – Part 5, The Jewish Examination of Jesus

April 5:  Jesus: Man, Messiah, or More? – Part 6, The Crucifixion

April 12:  Jesus: Man, Messiah, or More? – Part 7, The Resurrection of Jesus

Day of Discovery is the oldest continually running Christian broadcast in U.S. television history and hopes to bring God’s word into people’s lives in a relevant way each week. The 30-minute broadcast airs in the United States and Canada each Sunday on the Ion Television Network.
