With the imminent demolition of some older buildings on Biola University’s campus, The Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACFD) is presented with a unique opportunity for personnel training. Beginning on February 1, a series of emergency response exercises for the LACFD personnel will be conducted in several buildings on Biola’s campus, which will include simulated rescue operations, extinguishing simulated fires, cutting vents into roofs and deploying additional equipment and apparatus in the area. Biola Campus Safety will be supporting the fire personnel during the training.
