LA MIRADA, CALIFORNIA (October 21, 2021) — Keeping the Biola University community safe requires more disinfectant products than ever before due to the COVID-19 pandemic. SONO Healthcare, a trusted, medical-grade disinfectant products company has generously donated items to Biola University. Los Angeles based SONO Healthcare donated 720 80-wipe packs of disinfectant wipes to help keep classrooms and facilities clean and 10,368 20-wipe hand sanitizer packs to be distributed to the Biola community.

“On behalf of Biola's frontline healthcare workers, we are thankful for the generous gift,” said Dr. Sarah Templeton, Biola University Director of Health Services and Nurse Practitioner. “These supplies help us keep the Biola community safe and healthy. We are so encouraged by the support of SONO Healthcare.”

SONO Healthcare is a manufacturer in Los Angeles county in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., just up the road from Biola University. Biola has implemented mitigation efforts to keep COVID-19 cases at bay to maintain students’ ability to attend in-person classes this fall for the first time since students went home to attend classes remotely in March 2020.
