Over 700 people, including graduating seniors and their guests, gathered on Metzger Lawn on Friday evening, May 7, for a dinner in honor of the Spring 2010 graduates. An instrumental jazz ensemble set the tone for the evening while guests arrived and were seated, also playing throughout dinner.

President Barry H. Corey was on hand to start the evening off with congratulations to the Class of 2010, and Jesse Thomas (’05), president of the Alumni Executive Board, inducted all graduates into the Alumni Association.

Dr. Jon Lunde, associate professor of Biblical and Theological Studies, was the recipient of the 2010 Professor of the Year award, based on nominations from the graduating class. He addressed the graduates with important words from 1 Corinthians 13: “Now three things remain: faith, hope, and love.”

The evening ended with a video montage of pictures submitted by seniors.
